"After having no water issues for 20 years, we came home from vacation last year to find almost two feet of water in our crawl space. The water had soaked the insulation on most of the air ducting, causing them to pull free from the registers and had damaged the foundation footings. In this time when getting on any contractor’s calendar is a challenge, NCSS was able to quickly assess (by the owner, no less!) the situation, quote a price and begin work quickly. Robert’s crew put in drainage and sump pumps, replaced all of the ducting, and replaced 65 footings and structural support beams. All of the work was done quickly and efficiently; there was minimal disruption to our daily lives and the main house entryway that provided them access to the crawl space was completely cleaned each evening before they left. Everyone we worked with at Northwest Crawl Space Services was extremely professional and helpful. I highly recommend this company for any crawl space work."

"When a hot water pipe burst unexpectedly under our house, Northwest Crawl Space was one of the first companies we called to replace our insulation. They were the first to show up.
Unlike the other companies that gave us a bare minimum estimate, it was clear Lior (co-owner) has seen a lot of surprises in crawl spaces, so he knows what to look for. His inspection was thoughtful and thorough and his estimate checked all of our boxes, and then some.
He took photos to confirm the condition under the house, and made himself available via phone, text, and email to answer our many questions as we needed. Once we accepted the estimate, Lior promptly scheduled our job, and his crew showed up on time and completed the work on time. They were friendly, professional, skilled, and cleaned everything up afterwards, which we really appreciated.
Lior made a follow-up visit shortly after the job was finished and scheduled a few adjustments to be made, all of which were taken care of in an equally professional manner as the main job. When he promised to take care of us as he would his parents, we really felt that he followed through on his word.

"We found out we had a lot of mold in our attic and that our insulation was not properly installed by whoever sold us the house. Lior inspected my house and came up with a plan. In two days Lior's crew cleaned out all dirt, debris, old insulation, etc., installed a new roof vent, cleaned out the baffles, remediated the mold and painted it with a treatment so it will never come back, and then the next day they sprayed in new insulation. They did an amazing job, were very respectful and careful with my home and cleaned up behind them. They are even coming back to inspect it again a couple weeks after completion. Now my attic can breathe properly, is snug and insulated properly and we will have no more mold issues which is a huge relief! Lior and everyone I talked to at NW Crawlspace was very professional and knowledgeable and I would highly recommend them to anyone!!"

"My walk-in crawlspace was a hot mess. The vapor barrier was thrashed, the insulation on the joists that topped the space was old-style fiberglass installed backwards, the wall insulation was degrading, and an army of rats had taken residence throughout. Northwest Crawl Space Services responded quickly to a quote request, performed a thorough inspection, and explained clearly what was needed and why. Two techs spent a full day fixing everything up. The new vapor barrier was properly anchored, the new insulation was locked into place, the rats were eliminated and all vents and other pathways in were sealed against additional infiltration. Two follow-ups were scheduled one month apart, during which they checked rat traps and ensured stability of the work.
All-around, the experience was extremely positive. The staff and workers were friendly and professional, and communicated in a clear and timely manner."

"Supervisor, Jeff, along with the work crew were courteous, kind in their ways of being, helpful, and hard working. They eliminated the standing water in my crawl space via the following: Dug drainage canals, laid drain tile with lava rock, plugged line holes with cement, reset duct work, set a sump pump, and reset a new vapor barrier after removing the old. A crew of four did some hard and thankless work for the better part of ten hours to get my crawl space dry and reset. Needless to say, I would highly recommend their services."

"We had Northwest Crawl Space Services come out to take a look at our crawl space as we were getting ready to put our house on the market and needed it ready to go. Each person we dealt with was kind, courteous, and friendly. They did a very thorough inspection of our crawl space and gave us a clear and honest breakdown of how much work it needed (which turned out to be a lot). They were able to squeeze us in to their extremely busy schedule to get the work done ASAP so we could list our house with only a little delay, and when they came out to do the job they worked hard to get it done in one day. After a 12hr day of cleaning out and fully redoing our crawl space we have a clean, up-to-code, inspection-ready space with a newly installed entrance door. They ensured any previous pest problems were dealt with and any future ones wouldn't be an issue. The owner of the company himself came out twice, once the day of and once a week later, to check the job and make sure everything was done properly, and we were sent photos of everything before the workers left for the day so that we could see how the space looked.
We would highly recommend this company. It was so nice to be able to use a local company instead of a big chain and to have them do such great work."

"These guys worked their butts off making my crawlspace awesome! They removed old substandard insulation and a damaged vapor barrier, cleaned and disinfected the whole crawlspace, sealed it against rodent invasions, and then insulated to code every sq inch of anything that could be insulated! And my crawlspace is actually a "crawl" space. Everything they did had to happen laying down. If this wasn't a "one and done" project that will easily last twenty years, I'd hire them again. And I will if I ever move and need these services. Meanwhile, I'm really looking forward to walking around barefoot on my hardwood floors this winter!"
